Built of solid Walnut, the serpentine chest stands on graceful escargot feet over a scalloped apron, and features paneled sides and a molded top with a gentle serpentine front. The three hand-carved bombe drawers are adorned with recessed panels and dressed with the original gilt-bronze rocaille handles and matching escutcheons.
