Period Louis XV Cherry Buffet

This is a gorgeous Louis XV period buffet! The cherry wood has a lovely tone, and this piece has developed an excellent patina over its lifespan. Notice the beautiful ornamental, hand forged, full length hinges as well as the metal working on the drawers and doors. There is also a delicate hand carved floral design directly in the center of the chest, which ties the whole look together. This piece has been cleaned and waxed on the inside as well as the outside. This would be a wonderful addition to a dining room, or kitchen space, but could also work well in a living room or office needing a little extra storage! less
